Al-Burhan returns to Sudan

 The President of the Transitional Sovereign Council, Lieutenant General Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan, returned to the country this Sunday evening, after a one day official visit to Djibouti.
 He was received at Port Sudan Airport by the Acting Minister of Water Resources and Irrigation, Engineer, Dhaw al-Bayt Abdul Rahman Mansour, the Secretary-General of the Sovereign Council, Lieutenant General Muhammad al-Ghali Ali Youssef and a number of ministers.
 During his visit,  Al-Burhan held bilateral discussions with the President of Djibouti, Chairman of the current session of IGAD, Ismail Omar Guelleh, which discussed ways to support the prospects for joint cooperation between the two countries and the situation in Sudan and the region.
 Al-Burhan had stopped at Asmara Airport on his way back to the country where he met with Eritrean President Isaias Afwerki, at Asmara International Airport and discussed ways to strengthen bilateral relations between the two countries and issues of common interests.
 During the visit, Al-Burhan was accompanied by the Acting Foreign Minister, Ambassador Ali Al-Sadiq, and the Director of the General Intelligence Service, Lieutenant General, Ahmed Ibrahim Mufaddal.
