Burhan and Afwerki meet in Asmara

Eritrean President Isaias Afwerki met on Sunday with Lieutenant General Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan, President of the Sudanese Sovereign Council.
Discussions focused on bilateral relations and regional developments of common interest.
President Burhan arrived in Asmara on Sunday afternoon on a one-day working visit.
Upon his arrival at Asmara International Airport, General Al-Burhan received a warm welcome from President Afwerki.
The Sudanese delegation included Ambassador Ali Al-Sadiq, acting Minister of Foreign Affairs of Sudan, and other senior Sudanese officials.
