On the 42nd day of the ceasefire in Gaza, four children were injured in the Al-Salatin area of Beit Lahia by fire from Israeli drones, while an Israeli helicopter opened heavy machine-gun fire toward the eastern areas of Jabalia refugee camp.
UNICEF announced that at least 67 children have been killed in the Gaza Strip by Israeli army gunfire since the ceasefire came into effect on October 10.
In the occupied West Bank, a member of the Palestinian police was killed by Israeli forces during the siege of his home in the town of Tell, southwest of Nablus. Meanwhile, hundreds of Palestinians in Kafr Aqab, north of Jerusalem, and in Al-Am‘ari refugee camp in Al-Bireh, took part in the funerals of Amro Khaled Ahmad Al-Marbu‘ (18) and Sami Mashaikh (16), who were shot dead by Israeli forces early Friday.
Israeli soldiers also fired live ammunition at residents and worshippers during Friday prayers in the village of Al-Mughayyir in the occupied West Bank.
