Kenya – Sudan Events

Cards were mixed in the second group in the East and Central African Confederation (CECAFA) Junior Championship after four teams – Uganda, Tanzania, South Sudan and Zanzibar – were tied on points, and even the goals that were equal did not differentiate between them.

South Sudan had preceded Uganda in defeating Tanzania after turning the tables and turning a goal deficit into a two-goal win, while Uganda scored one goal against Zanzibar, which ensured it scored three points on par with everyone else.

The four emerging teams are awaiting the third round of the playoffs to determine the group champion and the runner-up emerging into the round of four of the tournament hosted by Kenya.
