Sudan Airways Returns Airbus A320 to Service

Sudan Airways (Sudanair) on Sunday returned its Airbus A320 aircraft to operational service after completing a comprehensive maintenance program carried out in accordance with internationally approved aviation safety standards.
The company said the move underscores the national carrier’s commitment to enhancing fleet efficiency and ensuring the highest levels of passenger safety, following extensive inspections conducted at specialized centers that restored the aircraft to full operational readiness.
Sudanair confirmed that its scheduled flights to Cairo, Riyadh, and Jeddah will continue regularly, offering a range of promotional incentives, including competitive fares and increased baggage allowances, as part of efforts to facilitate travel and support Sudanese communities in these key destinations.
The airline also announced a gradual expansion of its route network by adding new domestic and international destinations, strengthening the national carrier’s presence and responding to growing demand for its services, in parallel with national efforts to revive the aviation sector after a period of operational challenges.
Sudanair concluded its statement with the phrase, “We are flying again,” signaling a confident return to operations and its aspiration to deliver improved travel experiences and restore the national carrier to its rightful standing.
