Singer Mohamed Hassan: Stops Activity
Sudan Events – Exclusive – Magda Hassan
Singer Mohamed Hassan Haj Al-Khader, resident in Egypt, said he has never entered into regular artistic activity during this period. In an interview with Sudan Events, he said: “Since the outbreak of the war, I have stopped all activity, except some contributions in national programs.”
He pointed out that singing in Egypt, does not suit him, saying, “What are called forums in Egypt are basically cafes, and singing will not add anything or introduce me in a good way. I have had two experiences with singer Walid Zaki El-Din, and I wouldn’t like to repeat them, currently I am just monitoring and waiting.”
Al-Khader added that he was relying on his external trips to sing in Europe and West Africa. He said, “If I leave Egypt it is difficult to enter. We hope that war will end and we will continue our artistic activities.”
