Saudi Grant on its Way to Beneficiaries

The Saudi wheat grant convoy to the Darfur region was launched today in Port Sudan, consisting of 141,800 wheat bags. Additionally, another convoy with 38,200 bags of flour was dispatched to the Blue Nile region yesterday. The launch ceremony was attended by the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Social Development, Jamal El Neel, who is also the head of the Technical Emergency Committee and Crisis Management, as well as the committee’s rapporteur, the Minister of Culture and Information, Graham Abdul Qadir, and the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in Sudan, along with ministers from the regional government.
