Swiss Organization CARE Participates in Vaccine Transportation

Routine vaccines to vaccinate children under one year of age arrived at the Ministry of Health and Social Development in East Darfur State, following their deportation from North Darfur through joint efforts with the Swiss organization CARE.

The director of the Expanded Immunization Program in the state, Muhammad Judah Binu, said that the vaccine to vaccinate children under one year of age has been cut off from the state for a long time due to the events that Sudan is going through. He indicated that there are more than 14 types, including measles, rotavirus, and yellow fever, which will be distributed according to the target for the nine localities. It also includes children arriving as a result of wars in some states.

Benio called on families to bring their children for vaccination at the centres.
