Bank of Khartoum announced (Tuesday) return of opening acount service – online in Sudan. Procedure should be done via the link:

The procedures are completed by visiting one of the branches of the Bank of Khartoum in the states, regarding to the branch named by the customer.
The requirements and action steps have been specified:
By register personal data, phone number, email, then fill out the bank forms of the service , attach copy of approved identity and signature. Then, a code to confirm the request to arrive at the postal address. Then visit the branch you chose from in the states; bring original approved identity (a valid passport , valid national card); deposit of SDs10,000 initial deposit from which the account opening fees and stamps will be deducted.

It is stipulated that the customer must not have an account at the Bank of Khartoum, but that the customer must be present (in person) at the branch to complete the procedure.

The bank stressed that a private email should be used or a private email should be created to avoid any fraud through any third party.

The account should be a _savings_ account.

The service is currently available to Sudanese only.
