Shutdown of Am Dabakir Power Station Due to Overload and Electricity Outage

An overload caused the Am Dabakir power station in the White Nile State to go offline, plunging the state into darkness for three consecutive days. Efforts are still ongoing to repair the station, which is expected to be back in service in the coming days. Sources indicate that the shutdown occurred after connecting the station to North Kordofan State, which increased the load and ultimately led to the station catching fire.
