New Cases of Dengue Gever in Sudanese States

Health Emergencies and Epidemic Control in the General Department in Gezira state affirmed 9 cases of dengue fever with deaths recorded.

The department’s culminating report on dengue fever from 19/9 to 10/10 revealed that 134 suspected fever cases were registered in the state, with 112 cases confirmed by rapid examination and 3 deaths.

The Ministry’s General Director (GM) called on citizens to empty, dry and wash water storage tanks and utensils every three days, exposing them to sunshine to prevent the spreading of Aedes vectors that cause disease at homes.
