Sudan draws with Tanzania in a preparatory match

The Sudanese national football team drew with its Tanzanian guest with a goal in the test match that brought them together this Sunday evening at King Fahd Stadium in the Saudi city of Taif.

The Sudanese team, nicknamed the “Sagittarius serpentarius,” took the lead through striker Musab Jalengat before Samatta equalized the score for the visitors before entering the break.

The match, which was attended by an average audience, is part of a series of preparatory tests that Sudan is undergoing in preparation for facing Togo and Congo teams in the 2026 World Cup qualifiers.
