Muslim World League Calls for Serious Engagement of Jeddah talks

Muslim World League welcomed the resumption of talks in Jeddah between representatives of the Sudanese Armed Forces SAF and representatives of the Rapid Support Forces RSF with mediation of Saudi Arabia and the United States of America USA.

Secretary-General of the Association – Chairperson of the Association of Muslim Scholars, Sheikh Dr. Mohamed bin Abdulkarim Al-Issa, stressed the importance of these talks in this difficult current conditions of Sudan , calling on all parts to be wise and responsible, to commit to the path of dialogue, and to engage seriously and effectively in the talks, leading to find out final solution to this harmful crisis affecting Sudan and its people.

The Sudanese army SAF engaged on Thursday in negotiations with the militia in the city of Jeddah in Saudi Arabia, followed a pause that lasted three months and facilitated by Saudi Arabia and the United States of America.
