Miracle: A 70 year old woman gives birth to twins without any complications

In a very rare incident, a 70-year-old Ugandan woman gave birth to twins, after receiving fertility treatment that made her one of the oldest mothers in the world.

According to the American CBS News network, Safina Namukwaya gave birth to a boy and a girl last Wednesday via cesarean section at the International Women’s Hospital and Fertility Center located in the capital, Kampala, after receiving in vitro fertilization treatment, and she is now in good health.

The woman had given birth to a daughter in 2020 in the same hospital when she was in her late sixties, and Dr. Edward Tamale, who works at the hospital, described the process of giving birth to the two children as an “exceptional achievement.”

Mother Namukwaya said about this, saying: “I am seventy years old, and I am considered weak, and unable to conceive, give birth, or care for a child, but the miracle of twins came.”
