A church in the occupied West Bank has changed this year’s nativity scene, laying baby Jesus in the rubble, to show solidarity with the people of Gaza.

“Christmas celebrations are cancelled in the birthplace of Jesus, but Christmas prayers are not. The nativity scene of Jesus in a manger has been replaced with a baby Jesus laying amongst the rubble in solidarity with Christian and Muslim Palestinians in Gaza” says Sayeeda Warsi.
