The Algerian Football Federation (FAF) has postponed all matches scheduled for this week on Thursday.
The FAF decision came after the traffic accident that resulted in
the death of two players in the Algerian Mouloudia El Bayadh team, competing in the first division
Football, late Wednesday evening..
The official Algerian News Agency said the accident caused the death of goalkeeper Zakaria Bouziani (27 years old) and the team’s assistant coach, Khaled Muftah.
The accident occurred when the bus carrying the team overturned in the city of Souker, northwest of Algeria, while it was on its way to Tizi Ouzou to face JS Kabylie in a league match that was scheduled for Friday, according to local media reports.
