Large areas in Khartoum witnessed power outages, and a number of citizens said that the power outages included large areas in Khartoum, Bahri and Omdurman due to a malfunction in the power station in the Al-Faki Hashem area, north of Khartoum. Citizens indicated that the power outages affected communication services as well as working water stations.
