Makarem Performs a New Year’s Eve Party in Cairo

Singer Makarem Bashir announced that she will perform at the 2024 New Year’s concert at Layali Hall in Cairo.
Makarem wrote on her Facebook page: Praise be to God for the giving and the loss
Praise be to God before and after.
There is no alternative to the homeland but the homeland.
There is no alternative to Sudan but Sudan.
It was a year in which we lost everything, we cried so much, we felt so much sadness, and we remained in the unknown… But life must go on, the homeland must return, the pen of injustice must be broken, and every darkness is removed, and we hope for a year in which rights are restored to their owners. And the homelands belong to their people.
