The Federal Minister of Finance, Dr. Jibriel Ibrahim, said that their attention during the coming period will be focused on changing the Port Sudan water network and in the Red Sea State in general to provide water for all living quarters in the city.
The Minister also revealed a new proposal for harvesting water in the Red Sea State.
Dr. Jibril Ibrahim said in his meeting with the Red Sea Governor, Major General Mustafa Mohamed Nour, that the meeting discussed another source for water in the state which is water desalination, and the main focus was on rainwater, while at the same time working for cleaning dams, renovation of the internal network of the city of Port Sudan.
The Federal Minister of Finance, Dr. Jibriel Ibrahim, explained the Red Sea Governor’s interest in the state’s water projects and that he is closely follow-up of Red Sea water projects.
