Traditional Miners Support Sudanese Army

The traditional miners in Dalgo market have launched an initiative to support the Sudanese Armed Forces.
The Governor of the Northern State, Abdeen Awadallah, has praised this effort and the contributions of the traditional miners and their support to the armed forces as they fight the battle of pride and dignity to defeat the rebel Rapid Support militia (RSF) and preserve the security, stability and unity of the country.

The Governor told a gathering of the miners in Dalgo market,on Sunday, on the occasion of inaugurating the mobilization of the traditional miners to support the armed forces that the positions of the miners in support of the projects and programs of his state government in the areas of development and extension of services are commendable.
He stressed that the miners have a cause, indicating that the mining areas in the northern state are witnessing great stability.

The governor called on the miners to be vigilant and raise the sense of security, cooperate and coordinate with the regular authorities to extend security, enhance stability, secure the state and confront all forms of targeting and conspiring against Sudan.

In this context, the Commander of the 266th Air Defense Brigade in Dongola, Brigadier General Ali Idris, confirmed that targeting and conspiring against the country only increases the unity, cohesion of the people of Sudan with their armed forces.

He indicated that the armed forces are capable, thanks to God Almighty first, and then with the efforts, of support by the people, to achieve a solid victory and defeat RSF, restoring security, stability and reassurance.

In addition, the Director of the office of the Sudanese Mineral Resources Company Limited (SMRC) in the Northern State, Abdul Rahman Mahjoub Al-Nadif, expressed his gratitude for the increasing efforts made by traditional miners in supplying the public treasury with resources and contributing to the company’s effort to maximize state revenues, stressing that the miners in Market 625 in Dalgo locality and Souq Al-Qaab in Dongola locality set through this impetus the most wonderful examples of support, spending, sacrifice, redemption, patriotism, and standing in one trench behind the armed forces.

He stressed that the mining sector will remain an essential source of the state’s economy, the armed forces, and the state government’s development projects.
He noted another impetus of miners during the coming days in the Al-Khanaq, Halfa, and Al-Dabbah markets in support and backing of the armed forces.

The representative of the miners in Market 625, Dalgo, Mahdi Osman, and the representative of the miners in the Ali Adam Market, spoke at the meeting, stressing their support and backing for the armed forces and supporting the state’s various projects.
