Writers and Readers Festival in Aseer Launched

The “Writers and Readers” Festival, in its second edition, which was launched in Saudi Arabia by the Literature, Publishing and Translation Authority, received a wide turnout at the Prince Sultan Cultural Center in the city of Khamis Mushait to celebrate Arab and international culture and literature.
The festival was keen to attract the most prominent Saudi and international intellectuals, to present their productions to a diverse audience from various segments of society, and to enhance cooperation and partnerships in the fields of literature, publishing and translation with various parties, with the implication of allowing the private and non-profit sectors to contribute to enriching the literary movement.
