The Joint Force of Armed Movements denied any coordination between the Commander-in-Chief of the Sudan Liberation Army, Lieutenant General Juma Muhammad Haqar (Samka), and Nimir, Al-Hadi Idris, Nimr, Altahir Hajar, Muhammad Abdel-Rahman, and Suleiman Sandal to stand by the Rapid Support, as reported.
The military spokesman for the Sudan Liberation Army Movement, spokesman for the joint force, Major, Ahmed Hussein Mustafa, said in a statement today (Tuesday), that during the past two days, reports were being circulated about the arrival of Lieutenant General Jumaa to the Chadian capital, N’Djamena, Altahir Hajar, Hadi Idris and Sandal, followed by rumors about coordination between them to meet with Rapid Support under the name of the Civil Support Committee.
He added that Lieutenant General Jumaa is among the leaders of the joint force in the Command and Control Authority and was on an official mission accompanied by the governor of the Darfur region and the general supervisor of the force for Port Sudan since late last August for purposes related to the force.
He stated that after completing his basic duties, he undertook several trips of his own, the last of which was to N’Djamena, and his arrival coincided with the presence of Hajar, Nimir and Sandal, at the Airport.
The spokesman stressed that there is nothing in common between Commander Hajar and the purposes and reasons of those mentioned in N’Djamena, according to what is being circulated in the media.
He said that Lieutenant General Jumaa is one of those concerned about the joint force and ways to carry out its tasks in protecting civilians and their property, delivering humanitarian aid, and protecting and securing the headquarters of organizations and institutions.
He confirmed his presence in the Umbro military area, stationed with his forces, with the coordination and knowledge of his colleagues in the Command and Control Authority, and that anything that is being promoted other than that is mere rumor to serve the interests of those who it.
