The Central Bank of Sudan has alerted the public about the printing of the second edition of the one-thousand-pound currency note, indicating that the signature of the
former governor, Hussein Yahya Janqoul, has been replaced by the signature of the current governor, Bura’i Siddiq Ali.
The Central Bank has meanwhile confirmed that all editions of the one-thousand-pound denomination are valid and discharged of liability .
