Despite the crises and bloody wars taking place in some Arab countries, publishing houses in the countries of Palestine, Sudan, Libya and Iraq were keen to participate in the Cairo International Book Fair 2024, scheduled for January 24 until February 6 at the Egypt Center for International Exhibitions and Conferences in the Fifth Settlement.

Walid Mustafa, Chairman of the Exhibitions Committee of the Egyptian Publishers Union, said that the Union made efforts to solve the problems of providing housing for Arab publishers at good prices, by presenting offers for many hotels and some private apartments for publishers. He pointed out that Sudan participated with two libraries in the 2024 Book Fair, and Jordan participated with one library. , In addition toParticipation of Palestine, Iraq and Libya.

He confirmed the participation of all Arab countries in the Cairo International Book Fair, which is considered the best fair in the Arab world and second in the world after the Frankfurt Book Fair.
