A Financial Reward for the Namibia Tational Team

Robert Chimosheli, President of the Namibian Football Association, in cooperation with one of the federation’s sponsoring companies, announced the disbursement of 150,000 Namibian dollars (about 7,000 US dollars) to each player after the historic victory over Tunisia.
The Namibia national team achieved a surprise victory over Tunisia, which was the first victory for this team during its few participations in the African Cup of Nations.
Chimushili said in statements reported by the official website of the Namibian Federation: “You left your families for this mission, and you put all your focus in the tournament, in order to make us proud. The Namibian people thank you for making history.”
The Federation President urged all fans capable of supporting their team in any way possible not to delay doing so, so that the team can achieve other achievements in this tournament.
