Director and actor Nasser Youssef decided to stop artistic work indefinitely and wrote briefly on his Facebook page : Sorry to all arts, I will be on open leave from now and indefinitely.
Nasser was accompanied by Dr. Saleh Abdel Qader carried out the longest business trip inside Sudan during the war, titled:
A trip (Antidote against War). The trip worked on several axes, including working on developing the scenario for the film (Exodus of the Soul), which is a movie that deals with the horror of war in Sudan.
Nasser considered the post-war trip as a debt to the Sudanese people and the nation as an attempt on their part in a nation-building project. Regarding his sudden decision, Nasser said in an exclusive interview to Sudan Events: The decision may be surprising to you and surprising to others , but it is a decision I reached after a deep and long study.
