Sudan Events – Magda Hassan

The poet Al-Tijani Haj Musa is very sad for the lost the singers Mohamed Mirghani while he was far away from him due to the circumstances of the war.
He told Sudan Events about the pain of loss in these conditions and distance. He said that he regretted the news of the death of Omar Al-Shaer, then Mohamed Al-Amin, then Mohamed Mirghani. All three of them had a place in his heart and a tenth of his path.

Poetic entertainment
The poet Tijani Haj Musa Bamdurman is still active in the atmosphere of war, active and providing whatever services he can, even if it is a poem… at the request of the people there.
Al-Tijani is a man of many talents. He is a poet, composer, and writer in the field of arts and has many songs and poems.
He decided to support those there with poetry and entertainment, or entertain them with poetry as he said, so he started making video recordings of his poems and said:
A youth asked to record for them the poem (Sweet Eyes), the famous song sung by the artist Mohammad Mirghani.
It is written and composed by Tijani Haj Musa, and after he finished reciting it, he told its entire story.

The whole story

In the early eighties, Al-Tijani Haj Musa visited his friend, the Singer Mohamed Mirghani, and told him the new poem and asked him for an oud and a recorder to record : I don’t know how to play, but I click on the table.
We recorded the song, went to Friday prayers, heard it again, and recorded it with the accompaniment of the oud, he did not sing it for a year or more.
Hajj Musa narrates that one day, the journalist Assem Mahjoub visited me with a young man with thick hair. For the first time I met him.
The singer Issam Mohamed Nour introduced me to him as a singer from the city of Wad Madani who came to have his voice approved on Sudanese radio.
The radio at that time required that whoever had his voice approved must have a poem from a poet.
A famous and well-known composer, and the poetic text must be metaphorical from the committee, the poem (Sweet Eyes) was approved in text and melody.
I presented it to Issam, and he approved of his voice. I asked him to book the radio orchestra for record , but he apparently rushed and left for Madani, as it was the Eid concert season.
After a while, Issam sang it on Wad Madani Radio with only the oud, and it was broadcasted as far as Khartoum, the Singer Mohamed Mirghani heard it, and at that time he was a teacher at a girls’ college. Bamdurman told me he listened to the song, he asked me how to present it to another singer , immediately he went to the radio and recorded it officially.
Here, Issam Mohamed Nour became very angry and said that Al-Tijani had taken his song from him, and this was not happened. If he had not been in a hurry, he would have officially recorded it for the radio and would have been the first to sing it.

The war stops
This is the original narration of the song (Sweet Eyes) about which there were many narrations with images that astonished the poet and composer.
Among the most common stories about the song, according to Al-Tijani Haj Musa, it is said that a friend of his was absent in exile for eight years and he had a son.
Upon his return, Al-Tijani received him at the airport, then his wife called and told him to come.
Directly on accidentsThe narrator laughed (I myself came close to believing the story) We found the boy dying and he died at the hands of his father upon his arrival, and then the father said: Talk to me, you beautiful eyes.
Your silence confused me, you compassionate one.
He said: “Tomorrow the war will stop, the bleeding will stop ,the grief will lift, Sudan will return more beautiful.”
