Sudan Events – Rehab Abdullah
Gas stations in Shendi locality, River Nile State, implemented an increase in gasoline prices, at a time when some stations refused to receive their share due to the increase.
Sudan Events monitored rows of vehicles at gas stations, and one citizen said that the price of gasoline had been increased from 5,000 pounds to 6,500,000 pounds, indicating that the quota was insufficient.
Meanwhile, workers at a gas station said that the increase came from fuel distribution companies, and they demanded the need to increase the quota in light of the fact that the locality witnessed the arrival of large numbers of citizens coming from Khartoum and Madani.
