Bayern Leverkusen reaches the German Cup final

Bayer Leverkusen qualified for the final match of the German Cup, after its landslide victory over its guest team, Fortuna Dusseldorf, with a score of 4-0, in the match that brought them together yesterday evening, Wednesday, at the Bay Arena, within the semi-finals of the German Cup for the current season 2023-2024.
Bayer Leverkusen ended the first half of the match with a clean hat-trick, scored by Jeremy Fremong, Amin Adly and Florian Wirtz, in the 7th, 20th and 35th minutes of the match.
In the second half, Florian Wirtz increased the hosts’ lead by scoring the fourth goal from a penalty kick in the 60th minute of the match.
Bayer Leverkusen will face its counterpart, Kaiser-Slautern, in the final match of the German Cup, after the latter achieved a victory over Saarbrücken, 2-0.
Bayer Leverkusen maintained its unbeaten record during the current season, having played 40 matches so far, achieving (35 wins and 5 draws).
