IDPs Coordination: (443) Children Have Died in Kalma Camp since Start of War

The official spokesman for the General Coordination for Displaced Persons and Refugees in the Darfur region, Adam Rejal, has revealed the death of 443 children in Kalma camp since the start of the war until last March due to acute malnutrition, in addition to the death of pregnant and breastfeeding women due to complications and abortion.
Men told (Sudan Events): We conducted a survey in the camp and found that out of ten families, eight ate one meal in which there were no nutritional elements, and that two children died every 12 hours, and that acute malnutrition centers received between 14 and 18 children daily.
