“Ratina” hosts a symposium on “Identity in the Diaspora”

The “Ratina” Forum in Cairo presented a panel discussion on “Identity in the Diaspora,” moderated by Omar Ashari, in which 4 speakers from the “Sudanese Artists Forum” program participated: the theater director Hatem Mohamed Ali, the visual artist Rawan Raafat, the poet Loujain Ali, and the photographer Sari Ahmed. Ashari said that the identity debate is very important and resonates with Sudanese artists from various disciplines as they try to adhere to their Sudanese identity in the context of adapting to their new reality and trying to work in different spaces and contexts.
