(Kimil Al-Asal) soon

 Events – Follow-ups

Musician Anas Al-Aqib announced the new song, (Kimil Al-Asal).

Al-Aqib wrote on his Facebook page that the poem was written by Hashem Siddiq in 1973, and he composed it in 1974. “This poem was given by my friend Hashem Siddiq to our late friend Omar Al-Shaer, even though I almost memorized it due to the many times it has been repeated it to us, but it went to the famous composer Omar Al-Shaer.” He added.

“One evening, during a session at Omar Al-Shaer’s house, Omar Al-Shaer took me aside and gave me the text of the poem. He told me, ‘This text fits you. I am ashamed to return it to Hashem. You take it.’ I actually convinced Professor Hashem that I liked the poem, and I took it from Omar, and he was worried that Hashim would feel upset.” He continued. “Finally I settled on the song (Kamal Al-Asal) and I composed it in batches without a musical introduction, then it was completed in about two years and it became one of the requirements of our sessions all the time, which made me master it brilliantly. You will hear it soon, God willing.” He added.
