Sudan  Events – Follow-ups

Citizens in Khartoum have renewed their complaints about the continuing interruption of electricity and water supply in multiple areas, including Sharq Al Neel and Kalakla, which has exacerbated the suffering and created severe crises.

Citizens told (Sudan Events) that they are forced to buy water from distant areas and bring it in a “cart” pulled by animal.

The East Nile Emergency Room described the suffering of citizens to obtain water as a “real disaster.”

The chamber said that citizens get little water from wells by extracting it manually using old methods in long queues, while some are forced to go to the Nile to carry water home via cart.
