He added, “They also offered to us before that a new army would be formed as an alternative to the Sudanese army, siding with them, and that Darfur would be taken over. In the last meeting between Arko Minawi and Abdul Rahim Dagalo in N’Djamena, this offer was made, and also during the negotiations in Juba, they were trying and striving for the Sudanese army to be changed and replaced.” With a militia.
