On Sunday, Mikhail Baghdanov, the Russian President’s special envoy to the Middle East and Africa, and the Russian Deputy Foreign Minister, arrives in Sudan, heading a large delegation on a two-day official visit.
During the visit, the Russian envoy will meet with the President of the Sovereign Council and his deputy, in addition to meetings with the Ministers of Foreign Affairs and Minerals and other officials.
According to the Sudan News Agency, the visit aims to develop bilateral relations in all fields by activating consultation and coordination between the two countries bilaterally and in regional and international forums.
