Kabashi: Liberating Gezira is a Strategic Goal

Member of the Sovereign Council and Deputy Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Lieutenant General Shams Al-Din Kabbashi, has confirmed that the liberation of Gezira State is a strategic goal and that the stability of citizens and the provision of necessary services to them stand at the top of the central government’s priorities.
Kabbashi, accompanied by Major General Mohammad Abbas Al-Labib, Deputy Director General of the General Intelligence Service, and Major General Haider Al-Teraifi, arrived in the city of Al-Manaqil, and were received by the governor of Gezira, Al-Taher Ibrahim Al-Khair, Major General Awad Al-Karim Ali Saeed, commander of the First Infantry Division, and Brigadier General Imad Al-Din Sayed Ahmed, Director of the General Intelligence Service in the state, and members of the Gezira’s government.
Kabbashi inspected the front lines and reviewed the security arrangements and plans prepared and implemented by the regular forces. He also reviewed the progress of services provided to citizens.
