The Director of the Zakat Chamber in the River Nile State, Dr. Yahya Al-Qamrawi, has announced the implementation of production methods for inmates in Shendi Prison to contribute to the inmate’s acquisition of professional skills to benefit from them in the future, and the prison administration was assisted in disbursing some of the needs.
He said during his visit to Shendi Prison (Tuesday) that the Zakat Chamber is ready to pay the amounts of debtors that fall under the legal responsibility and with the competent authorities.
Al-Qamrawi directed the director of the Zakat Chamber in Shendi to cooperate fully with the prison administration regarding some issues related to treatment, health insurance, and the problem of drinking water.
He urged the inmates to be patient until the punishment period expires and to benefit from it with a change for the better and better.
