Militia Bombing Kills and Wounds (843) People in El Fasher Within a Month

Director of the Ministry of Health in North Darfur State, Ibrahim Abdullah Khater, has said on Tuesday that the victims of the conflict in the city of El Fasher during this May amounted to 843 civilians, including dead and wounded.
Ibrahim Abdullah Khater told Sudan Tribune, “The civilian deaths in El Fasher amounted to 113 people, while 730 individuals, most of them women and children, were injured during the last three weeks.”
He pointed out that the casualties resulted from the Rapid Support Militia’s bombing of residential neighborhoods, shelter centres, markets and hospitals.
