 Sudan Events – Rehab Abdullah

Citizens of the Nile River State (Sudan Events) reported that the price of a 12.5 kg gas cylinder ranged between (35-37) thousand pounds, compared to its price of 17 thousand pounds before it rose to 27 thousand pounds, while the price of the cylinder in the northern state of Dongola reached 40 thousand pounds.

At a time when the Economic Committee in Khartoum State announced that the price of a 12.5 liter cooking gas cylinder had risen to 23,600 pounds, and attributed the increase to the rise in dollar prices.

Gas store owners justified the price increase due to the rise in the price of the dollar and the high cost of importing, as well as the increase in the cost of transportation due to the increase in fuel.
