“11 people killed by militia gunfire in El Fasher

Eyewitnesses reported that ‘bloody clashes erupted between the Rapid Support Forces militia and advanced positions of the Joint Force in the southern and eastern parts of El Fasher, where all types of weapons were used.’

Volunteer Mubarak Suleiman, according to Sudan Tribune, revealed casualties and injuries as a result of the heavy artillery shelling carried out by the Rapid Support Forces militia on neighborhoods surrounding the command of the Sixth Infantry Division. He mentioned damage to several houses in the neighborhoods of ‘Barnaja’ and ‘Al Wahda.’

He noted the continued wave of displacement of large numbers of people from El Fasher towards localities such as ‘Tawilah,’ ‘Al Koma,’ ‘Kutum,’ and other areas.

A medical source informed Sudan Tribune that the Martyr Sayyid Medical Center, which was operational during the past two days, received about 11 dead and 42 wounded as a result of the Rapid Support Forces’ artillery shelling.”
