Announcing readiness to invest in mining in (Al-Liri) area

General Manager of the Sudanese Mineral Resources Company (SMRC)Limited, Mohamed Tahir Omar, announced harnessing all the company’s capabilities to achieve the renaissance of the mining sector in South Kordofan State and achieve development and stability for the communities hosting industries and mining activities.
Mohamed Tahir discussed, in his office in Port Sudan, on Sunday, with a delegation of the civil leaderships of the areas of “Al-Liri, Talodi, Kalogi, and Solidarity” in the presence of Director General of the Traditional Mining Department, Hatem Al-Bishri, and the Director General of the Minor Mining Department, Siraj Dalman, all mining issues in the region, and renewed their full commitment to solve all problems facing the workflow in coordination with local communities, the state government, and relevant parties.
For his part, chieftain Hamdan Mohamed Kinda, Head of the Civil Administration in Al-Liri Locality and Head of the Delegation, explained the local community’s desire to stabilize mining activity in the region and increase production to achieve development and expand services, calling on concession companies, mining waste companies, and investors to come to the state, indicating that the opportunity is now ready to invest in the mining sector in the region.
