Zakat Chamber in Shendi launches Eid al-Adha ( Sacrifice) programs with more than SDGs 45 billion

Zakat Chamber in Shendi launched Eid al-Adha programs with a cost of SDGs 45 million and SDGs 800,000 .
Eid al-Adha program includes supporting the war effort, supporting shelters for those arriving due to the war, supporting bases, defenses, hospitals, prison inmates, khalwas, people with special needs, poor families, families of martyrs, and wounded in operations.
Executive Director of Shendi Locality, Khaled Abdel Ghaffar Al-Sheikh, appreciated Zakat Chamber which remained a white hand that spent in the dark nights and remained a supporter of social work through the well-known zakat expenditures. The Zakat Chamber contributed to social stability through many services that it continued to provide in all these areas targeted by Eid program and others.
Head of the Operations Department of the Third Infantry Division in Shendi, Col.Jibril Awad Madawi, said that the Zakat House did not miss a day before the war and during the war, as it continued to support the war effort, and equipped a ward with fifty beds with all its requirements in addition to more than 60 bags for the wounded, including personal supplies, in addition to a number of water containers. For his part, the Director of the Zakat Chamber in Shendi, Ayyoub Ahmed Abdel Majid, confirmed that the Chamber has been implementing these programs on the two Eids, Eid al-Fitr and Eid al-Adha, in addition to the program of the holy month of Ramadan. He said that although the cost of these programs increases annually, by double what it was in the previous year, the House was keen to implement them to serve the community, particularly in light of the security and economic conditions that the country is experiencing.
