The artist Hossam Habib’s lawyer announced that his client was not released after paying bail due to suspicion of other charges with a name identical to my client.
Counselor Jamil Saeed said in an interview with Amr Adeeb on the Al-Hekaya program that the artist Hossam Habib was charged with cursing and carrying a weapon with an expired license for more than a year.
Sherine had filed a complaint in which she accused the person she described as “her ex-husband” – she accused him of threatening her with a weapon and directing “obscene” words at her in her home in Sheikh Zayed City. What prompted the authorities of the Sheikh Zayed Police Department to take “Habib” to its buildings until he was investigated and a decision was made to release him on bail of 10,000 Egyptian pounds.
