The final statement of the Sudanese powers participating in the Addis Ababa Conference called for the formation of an interim caretaker government whose tasks, competencies, formation and timing will be consulted between all concerned parties.
The final statement affirmed that the top priority is to immediately stop the war within the framework of emphasizing the sovereignty of the Sudanese State and the unity of its structures and people, and affirmed the importance of adhering to the implementation of Jeddah Agreement.
It affirmed that the Sudanese-Sudanese dialogue must be comprehensive and exclude only those against whom charges or rulings related to war crimes or crimes of genocide against civilians have been issued.
According to the final statement, it was agreed that the Sudanese-Sudanese political dialogue conference would be held inside Sudan after reaching a ceasefire, and the statement called for lifting the freeze on Sudan’s membership in the African Union.
