Calibration of Gas Warehouses and Cylinders in the River Nile

The Sudanese Standards and Metrology Organisation (SSMO) River Nile Sector, carried out a field visit to a number of warehouses and sites for filling and distributing cooking gas for the purpose of calibration and quality control in order to provide protection for the consumer.
The Director of (SSMO), Dr. Ahmed Sayed Ahmed, said that this work was carried out through a fruitful and ongoing partnership with the Petroleum Administration in the state, which clearly contributed to reviewing more than 9 warehouses at the state level and about eight thousand gas cylinders that were subject to review and calibration, indicating that the work will continue and continue until it includes and covers the rest of the cities and localities of the River Nile state, announcing that the process of tightening control over goods will continue through coordination and tight arrangement between the specifications and standards and the relevant authorities in order to ensure the quality of services provided to the citizen despite the current circumstances that the country is going through.
