Within the framework of the efforts made and expanding the circle of partners between the Sudanese Artists Association in Egypt under the umbrella of the General Union of Arab Artists, the Cinema Professions Syndicate and the Acting Professions Syndicate to open ways of cooperation with UNESCO, the Regional Office and the Sudan and Egypt Office, the Syndicate of Cinema Professions, Director Masoud Fouda, met in the presence of UNESCO Cultural Officer Katasuki, the Cultural Office Officer in Sudan Lamia, the Union Office Dr. Adel Harbi, Director Zuhair Abdel Karim, and the screenwriter Amir Abaza, President and Founder of the Alexandria Festival, Screenwriter Mohamed Al-Basousi, President and Founder of the Hurghada Youth Cinema Festival. The meeting discussed a number of points supporting the issues and tasks of the Sudanese Artists Association in Egypt and how to create a strong partnership between the artist community from the two countries that helps in joint production between these parties within the framework of UNESCO and civil and official society in Egypt.
