Sudan Doctors: 15 Killed in Militia Shelling on Sennar

The Sudan Doctors Network announced the killing of 15 people and the injury of others as a result of artillery shelling by the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) militia on the city of Sennar on Saturday.

The network stated on its Facebook page that the random shelling caused a humanitarian catastrophe by targeting a displaced persons camp at the sugar factory, with the injured being transported to the city’s teaching hospital.

Sudan Doctors condemned the continued targeting of civilians with heavy artillery, considering it an attempt by the RSF to forcibly displace civilians from Sennar, which is experiencing dire conditions due to road blockades and the siege imposed by these forces.
