Sudan Events – Agencies
Hezbollah announced today (Friday) that its members targeted the main Israeli air defense base in the northern region’s command at the Beriya barracks with “Katyusha” rockets, in response to Israel’s assassination in the southern town of Kafr Joz. In a statement, Hezbollah said that its members fired a volley of Katyusha rockets at the main air defense base in the Beriya barracks. An Israeli airstrike targeted Kafr Joz on Thursday evening, killing three people, including a child, and injuring three others. Hezbollah mourned three of its fighters on Thursday, bringing the total number of its fighters killed in the war to 468. The southern Lebanese border areas have witnessed an exchange of fire between the Israeli army and Hezbollah since October 8, after Israel declared war on Gaza in response to a Hamas attack on its territory, and Hezbollah announced its support for Gaza.
