(50) Million Dollars in Losses for the Islamic Call Organization Due to the War in Sudan

The Minister of Energy and Oil, Dr. Mohi El-Din Naeem, revealed the investment opportunities available in the fields of oil, gas, electricity, and petroleum services, welcoming all entities with financial and technical capabilities. On Tuesday, the Minister met in his office with Sheikh Abdul Rahman bin Abdullah Al-Mahmoud, the Secretary-General of the Islamic Call Organization, to discuss the organization’s desire to invest in the oil and gas sector and expand petroleum services.
Sheikh Abdul Rahman expressed his interest in investing in the petroleum and gas sector in Sudan, confirming the organization’s continued efforts in support and education for Sudanese and other African and Islamic peoples. He disclosed the extent of damage and losses suffered by the organization’s assets in Sudan, which amounted to approximately (50) million dollars, including 125 vehicles and various machinery, in addition to the occupation of the Danfodio Company building by the rebels. This company operates in the petroleum services sector in Sudan, particularly in drilling wells and other petroleum services, and is one of the organization’s companies in Sudan.
