Death Toll from “Al-Hilaliya” Siege Rises to 300

The head of the forensic medical advisory office at the Federal Ministry of Health, Aqeel Swareldahab, stated that the death toll from an unknown poisoning in the Al-Hilaliya area of Al-Jazeera state has risen to more than 300.
According to Al Jazeera, Swareldahab ruled out cholera as the cause of the troubling deaths in Al-Hilaliya, based on medical criteria.
The official called for urgent intervention from international specialized organizations such as the World Health Organization, the Red Cross, and the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) to provide assistance to the victims and investigate the mysterious deaths, as he described.
